What is your current production time for custom Items?

 2-5 weeks* (necessary shipping/transit time not included), dependent on metal, materials and design complexity. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us to request a more precise estimate for specific items. 

When the payment and desired ring size has been confirmed, your ring will be scheduled for production within the next working day.

 *It is possible to experience a delay if you order a free ring sizing kit or custom ring sizer your order will be worked on when you inform us about your exact ring size.

 If your order is time sensitive, we highly recommend you to contact us directly for further information on the required delivery dates depending on your purchasing date. However, the estimated waiting time starts from the purchase date (SHIPPING TIME IS EXCLUDED). For custom orders that require CAD or casting services, it might take a longer period depending on the complexity and the nature of the material/design.

 

Question: Is it possible to make a custom order for Rings Sizes that are not available on the Stock?

It is possible because of we handcraft and couple everything in-house. We can make rings sizes U.S. 2-22. For more options, you can shop our plus size wedding bands collection which include top-sellers features available at different sizes 10-20. In addition, the plus size rings cost 30% more compare to the standard sized rings mainly due to the high cost of materials, gemstones and metal that are required in larger sizes. If you are interested in a ring design on our online store that doesn't allow you to choose your desired size using the drop-down size selector available on the website, please contact us to check the actual size availability and request a custom quote.

 

 Question: Currently, Do You Have In Stock Rings That Ship Out Sooner?

Absolutely yes, we have a huge reputable collection of in-stock rings which ship out within 2-5 days (please check our ready to ship tab).

 

Question: Can You Offer Engraving Services?

 Yes, we provide FREE, laser text engraving of about 25 characters in addition to different font’s sizes.

Furthermore, we have a laser image engraving add-on, which is mainly used for adding images of icons, symbols, fingerprints and other patterns. Most times, we can make use of your hand-drawn, digital or printed pictures for an image engraving.

 Engraving notes:

If your ring size is 4mm or less, the preferred choice that will be used is Cambriafonts or Gulim.

It is not possible for us to engrave rings that are 2mm thinner or wide.

Also, we cannot engrave on materials that are coated with ring armor (e.g. antler, wood, mokume or dinosaur bone.

 When you order for products crafted in tungsten or black ceramic AND you want to have it engraved, we highly recommend that you purchase a custom sizer as well.

Just like other form of metals, it is not possible to get rid of custom engravings from returned items crafted in tungsten or black ceramic (this method tends to reduce their resell value). Purchasing a custom sizer is one of the best methods to secure your ring in a perfect condition before adding the custom engraving.

 

Question: Do you ship international orders?

Absolutely yes, we ship to customers across the world.

 

Question: What if I didn’t get my Custom Ring Before My wedding?

Typically, if you order for a custom ring, based on our present production timeline, if we are unable to ship the item before your wedding ceremony or unfortunately you didn’t get the item at the scheduled time, we can provide a stand-in rings to use on your special day. Note: these are fully refundable.

 Question: What are the necessary information needed for the Design Process?

Make sure that you provide the necessary information during your purchase or within the first three days of the design process for quick and precise delivery dates. Any other charges to your ring order after the three day deadline may lead to unwanted delay in production and delivery schedule.

 Ring Size

We recommend that you order custom ring sizers. This is the best method to determine your size and fit. But, if you order a ring sizer and received your final ring in the wrong size, we will redesign your ring in the correct size without any charges.

 Ring Width

 This is a simple trick which provide gauge width options" 1 U.S. nickel = 2mm. In addition, one of the most common width for men's wedding band is 8mm.

 Metal Choice

 We provide different varieties of metal in order to bring your vision to reality. Most of the designs are crafted from the metal based on your preference, but there are exceptions due to the limited number of ring styles. 

 Ring Profile

The profile options for rings with inlays include: Flat, Round or Beveled.  

Finish

We provide a variety of finish options which include matte, polished and sand-blasted.

 Inlay Material Choice

When/if we forward you pictures of material color options to choose from (for instance antler or dino bone), it is important that you confirm your preference within the 24 hours.

 

Question: Do You Offer Urgent Orders on Custom Creations?

 Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to offer rush orders due to time constraints. Most of the custom orders are placed on our production queue after the payment has been confirmed.

In addition, we offer both expedited U.S. and International shipping services for an additional charges.

 

Question: Which Payment Options are available on your platform?

 Slice It by Klarna (U.S. Orders Only) – It is a local financing options with ZERO percentage plans in most cases. When you want to checkout, click on the button for Slice it With Klarna to choose this payment method.

Using this option, your order will be available on our production queue after the financing approval.

  Sales Tax Collection: According to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in June 2018, most states requires out-of-state sellers to collect sales tax. Many reputable retailers also comply with the new regulation guiding the collection sales tax. For more information or questions about sales tax collection, please contact the customer service as soon as possible.

 

Question: Which type of Shipping Options Are Available?

Currently, we offer shipping services that covers the whole world.

 USPS Priority (FREE) –Continental U.S. The items arrives between 2-3 working days. Our domestic free shipping option doesn’t include insurance but you have the option of accessing it; this will be calculated based on the value of your purchase.

 USPS Priority ($24) – To Canada. The items arrives within 3-5 working days, excluding time in customs.

 USPS Priority (this depend greatly on the location)– Rest of the World. Items arrives between 6-10 working days, excluding time in customs.

 Arrives in 6-10 business days, excluding time in customs.

 FedEx (depending on the location as well) – This is only available for International orders that cost more than $400.

 Shipping Insurance and/or Signature on Delivery can be included during the time of checkout. When your purchase has been processed, don’t hesitate to contact us in including other services.

Please note that International Customers are fully responsible for international duties.

 Most of the time shipping internationally are hassle-free. But in some cases, packages might get stuck in customs. However, Cairo is not liable for customs-related delays in delivery items. Regardless of this, we will assist you if there is any expedite issues.

 

 Question: What Happens if my Package Gets Lost or Stolen?

Be informed that we are not liable for any item that leaves Cairo. We highly recommend that you purchase a shipping insurance to cover for your items if there is unforeseen loss, theft or damage. Also, items that are in transit must be covered by the insurance company. Purchased and claimed items paid by you before your rings are shipped. For more information, feel free to contact us.

 Additional charges have to be paid before any item is shipped.

 

Question: Do You Offer a Discount to Members of the Military?

Of course. For military personnel, we offer a 7% discount off total purchase. Please note that the discount cannot be added to any other discount or offer. In addition, the discount doesn’t apply to shipping. It is important to provide the three valid documents as proof:

 Documented statement which shows the proof that a military service from a member’s chain command (form letter is not required; just a signed letter verifying your member’s status in the military.)

Verification of service letter: Available in vMPF under the Self-Service actions/Personal Data – verify the service dates.

Statement of Service of local personnel office – Dually signed letter verifying your military status.

 

 Question: I Purchased (Or Have Received a Quote For) My Item and Now It’s On Sale. Can I Get it For the Sale Price?

Once you request, we will accept the promotional price for purchases made or quotes received within 3 working days after the official end date of a sale.

If you make complete payment, we will offer a refund for the difference. But if you are on a payment plan, we can change the remaining balance on your invoice to reflect the sale price.

The promotional codes cannot be applied to discounted item. Also, it cannot be used in combination with other discount. Promo codes cannot be used for past purchases.

 

Question: What Are Your Return and Cancellation Policies?

Our shop personally guarantees that all of our rings are free from defects and if there is any issue with the ring, we will replace it for you.

 

Returns: Due to any reason/complain, you decide to return your purchase, it is important to do that within 10 days of receipt. We will apply an in store credit to your account and you have the access to use the credit at our discretion for your ring. The credit can be used to repair or replace the shipped ring to satisfy the needs of our customers. The warranty is effective for 12months starting from the date you receive your ring, this date will serves as the effective date of the guarantee. However, if you take the ring to any other jeweler to get it engraved, resized or repaired, the guarantee will be void.

 

Return Policy: Returns will be accepted for IN-STORE-CREDIT provided the returned merchandise is in a good state based on the period you acquired the product. Please note that we are not responsible for “Acts of God”, abuse, or misuse while your purchase is not in our control.

 

If you mistakenly Order the wrong size: Due to the nature of our unique materials, our rings cannot be resized. As result of this, when we produce your ring, we create it based on the information you provided. If you provide any wrong information, there is a 20% remake charge. In addition, if your item is crafted in a precious metal, contains a mokume inlay, or contains meteorite inlay the remake fee is 35%. Other items crafted with customer-supplied materials (such as antler, wood and ashes etc.) are mainly subjected to 50% remake fee. The original ring must be returned to us within 10 days so as to qualify for these remake fees. If you want the original design to be remade using a different size, you need to purchase a custom sizer to qualify for the remake fee.

 

 Our custom ring sizers are crafted according to the width and size of your desired items. This facilitate easy and precise assessment of your size. When you purchased a custom ring sizer which fits, and an item you receive is made in an incorrect size, we will reproduce the item without any additional charges (this offer is only valid for one time). The signature styles can also be exchanged for the accurate size; all you have to do is to contact is within 10 days so as to arrange an exchange.

 

Engraved Rings: if there are any damages in your engraving that we are responsible for, our return policy will replace it.

 

Canceling the Sale: It is possible for you to cancel your order within the first 3 days after your order confirmation which consist of your estimated shipping date and you will get complete refund. However, orders that are cancelled after this period will be issued a 50% refund in form of store credit. We receive the right to cancel any sale or order at any time.

 

Always remember that our refund policy reflects the nature of the custom, handmade process.

 

 Question: Do You Offer an Extended Warranty?

We provide a lifetime protection on meteorite rings, meaning  that you can wear your meteorite ring care-free. You can send us your meteorite ring for free maintenance and re-etching ($70 value) you only have to pay for the shipping and we will try our best to make your jewelry look attractive and new again. Furthermore, most of our wood and antler rings are sealed with a proprietary product called Ring Armor to protect and increase the water-resistance of your inlay. After your purchase, if you notice a ding in your Ring Armor, we can redo it for free provided the material underneath is not damaged ($35 value).

Most of our items are produced by hand and other natural materials which vary by specimen. This implies that the items may be slightly different compared to the specifications offered in the description. Also, materials may have natural cracks visible.
